This is Lynch’s most compromised work, but that’s why it’s so interesting to talk about. It’s got enough of Lynch’s stylistic nous to make it remarkable, even if the narrative gets away from him rather badly. Still, we hope you’ll join us in reassessing this much-maligned slice of cinema.
